Position: Porter/Make Ready Technician

Our Porter/Make Ready Technicians play a key role in maintaining the community’s curb appeal, cleanliness, and overall resident satisfaction. You'll help turn apartments into fresh new homes, support routine upkeep, and be a friendly, helpful presence across the property.

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

• Complete make-ready tasks in vacant units to prepare apartments for new residents
• Perform grounds maintenance daily, keeping the property clean and inviting
• Clean common areas, buildings, and amenities according to schedule
• Complete basic maintenance service requests, as assigned
• Regularly inspect the property and report maintenance needs or safety issues
• Follow safety guidelines and OSHA regulations to protect yourself, the team, and residents
• Maintain tools and ensure work areas are clean and secured after use
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and teammates alike

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in groundskeeping, janitorial work, or make-ready tasks is a plus
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on your feet for long periods
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of safety protocols and basic maintenance practices
